Nursing And Midwifery student Association, (NAMSA) inUniversity of Health and Allied organized a great Health educational tour at about seven secondary Schools in Volta region.
According to the Health Education officer, *Mr Abdul Basit,* this educational tour has been one of the most successful and outstanding program for the semester.The Health education team of UHAS-NAMSA tackled schools like Ola Girls Senior High School,Mawuko Girls Senior High School,Ho Kpodzi J.H.S etc. to educate them on Breast Cancer and Adolescent Reproductive Health.
Their presentations at all the schools were highly appreciated by almost all the schools that they partook.
From the Association vice President,Mr Smith Ebenezer,
they started this tour at Mawuko girls and the presentation that the Health team delivered at this school , really made a lot impact on the students. He added that most of the students were so enthusiastic and energetic about the topics.
Finally,this health educational tour ended at Ola girls Senior High School. At this school,the students together with the teachers and most of the workers at OLA Senior High School enjoyed a lot of teachings from the Health educational Team.The Headmistress of this school congratulated the Health education Team and encouraged them to always do this education tour to bring quality health in Ghana . Once again, Current acting SRC president of University of Health and Allied Sciences, Mr Harrison supported this association and encouraged them to continued their good work to enhance the name of the institutions.
The President of UHAS-NAMSA,Mr Amponsah Christian, finally advised the students on how they can prevent breast cancer and the way they should manage themselves well as young teenagers.
