As part of this year’s Ghana Institution of Engineering – UENR week celebration, students of the School of Engineering together with Departments of Management Sciences and Law and Applied and Basic Biology embarked on a float today.
Hundreds of students were seen on the principal streets of the Sunyani Municipality singing and dancing to various tunes.
Flyers and placards of aspirants in the upcoming GhIE elections were also on display throughout the three hour walk.
The purpose of the activity according to Mr. Joel Korankye Bugbil; President of the Institution was to create awareness of the week-long celebration even as students embarked on the health walk.
This makes the second time since the inauguration of the student chapter of the GhIE in 2019 has embarked on a health walk as part of its yearly week celebrations.
