Universities all over the world are adjusting their teaching and learning structures following the onset of the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Public Universities in Ghana as well have not been left out from the coronavirus scare.
Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, outlined afront measures to keep teaching and learning intact amid the surge in coronavirus case count in the country.
The University of Cape Coast, (UCC) through the Executive Committee on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, has approved a revised academic calendar to ensure the resumption of Academic work for the second semester of the 2019/2020 Academic year.
The notice issued by Mr. Jeff Teye Onyame, Director (Academic Affairs) suggests that the semester examinations will take place on Monday, 15th June to Friday, 26th June 2020.
This, he indicates will be subjected to the normalisation of Ghana’s COVID-19 situation beyond May, 2020.
Hypercitigh.com checks reveal that the initial date scheduled for the second-semester examinations was Monday, May 4, 2020, to Friday, May 15, 2020.
Meanwhile, teaching and learning will, however, resume officially via Moodle Platform starting Wednesday, April 22nd, 2020.
