Vetting of aspirants for various positions in this year's Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE) and Women in Engineering (WinE) of the University of Energy and Natural Resources is set to commence tomorrow, 24th July, 2021, according to a letter signed by Electoral Commission Chair, Mr. Malcom Dwayne Nsiah.
The Ghana Institution of Engineering chapter of the University of Energy and Natural Resources under the School of Natural Resources has launched its SRC week celebration, yesterday 15th July, 2021 under the theme "Strengthening the Engineering Disciplines; the Future of the Student Engineer."
President of the Ghana Institution of Engineering - UENR ; Mr. Joel Korankye Bugbil has declared his intention to run for the position of SRC President this year. In a thank you message during a gathering of participants of today's float at the forecourt of the university's GETFund Hostel, the School of Engineering President for the first time officially declared his ambition publicly. It has been obvious since the beginning of the semester that the Santaclausian was going to run for the high office but had not made it public. This means that the aspirant will soon tender in his letter of resignation since the day set for picking of nominations by the UENR SRC Electoral Commission is Monday, 19th July, 2021.
