Third Year, BSc Construction Technology and Management student has validated his interest in the year’s SRC Presidential race.
The CABESA affiliate on Wednesday, June 17 made intentions clear at the high office of the SRC President.
The former CHEMU SHS boys prefect touts his knowledge in student governance and reckons that given the time and resources, his realistic and feasible policies will undo of the woes of student.
According to Prince, his bid to become the next SRC president is the need to create change and growth.
“Throughout the various processes of leadership I have been through I have realised that the challenge of leadership is to create change and facilitate growth. And that’s exactly what I seek to do in by bid to become your next SRC President.”
Following his bid, four issues have been discussed.
Prince Adjei Ackah had said in his declaration statement that, he will work with leadership at the Obuasi campus to establish a Library.
Also, the central classroom block (CCB) will be made accessible at night to allow further studies.
He pledges support for the creative art students. According to him he will scale up their numerous exhibitions to attract national and international patronage.
Amongst such discussions, the KNUST Observer, a monthly online journal is within plans to allow students with sensitive regard for fairness and justice to speak up.
