One of the early private universities in Ghana, Wisconsin International University Ghana, for the first time is actively involved in the Hult Prize on campus edition.
Hult Prize on campus gives universities and colleges around the world the opportunity to host Hult Prize with the aim of spreading the net of the competition to include more participants and more start-up ideas poised for radical impact.
The first campus director for the university, Miss Janet Kwakye enthusiastically shared her expectations towards the first ever Wisconsin International University Ghana Hult Prize on Campus edition, ” I am looking forward to recruiting more teams regardless the fact that it is the maiden edition for the university. ” she told hypercitigh.com
She further pointed out that she believes in the creativity of the students and their driven attitude to solving social problems.
Head of Career service, Mrs Blessing Ngozi Dickson, stated her excitement about the event.
Miss Janet Kwakye before ending thanked the Hult Prize foundation and the University management for granting her the opportunity to be the first ever campus director for the university and the green light for the event to take place respectively.
The next competition challenge has been revealed and the entrants must develop an idea to start a venture that will provide meaningful work for 10,000 youth within the next decade in the bid to oust youth unemployment among slum dwellers.
