UHAS : Nursing and Midwifery students Association Donates Medical Equipments To University’s Skills Laboratory.

The Nursing and midwifery students Association led by H.E ELIJAH NUAKO and H.E AKABUA PATRICK on the 19th April, 2021 at 2:00pm Donated a set of medical equipment’s and other useful materials to the Skills laboratory where students acquire their practical knowledge.

This Donation was done on behalf of all SONAM Students ( LEVEL 100- 400). Present there were some managements from the school of nursing and midwifery (SONAM-UHAS) the skills lab coordinators and some executives of the Association captured by UHAS-BASE TV. 

The president presented the THREE (3) LIFEX INDIAN BRAND (LARGE, MEDIUM and SMALL SIZE) STERILIZATION DRUM, and THE UNIQUE EXERCISE BOOKS produce by the administration with the nurse’s pledge and midwifery prayer inside.

The purpose of the equipment’s is to help them to sterilize their dressing materials, surgical instruments, surgical towels and other reusable medical devices to always keep them as sterile for medical and surgical usage.

The clinical and intrasemester coordinator for SONAM Mad. Comfort W. Lotse and other managements present applauded the current Administration for such a great developments being the first time to happen in the history of the school. Other schools within the school was was encouraged to help in resourcing the skills Laboratory. 

H.E Elijah Nuako also extended an appreciation to the Patron of the Association (Dr. Peter Adatara), Class presidents from the Various levels and the entire student Fraternity for making it a success.
