The office of the student representative council of the university of energy and natural resources has delivered it’s promise on the lobbying for higher data allocation for students.
Information available to hypercitigh.com indicates that students of UENR will be receiving 5GB data vine monthly for academic and research for the entire 2020/2021 Academic year . Students are to expect this new development in their data package allocation from 25th to 31st of this month.
Speaking to hypercitigh.com, the SRC public relations officer revealed that “The Tertiary Data Bundle came as relief to students on data and internet issues both on campus and outside campus. The SRC after establishing the Tertiary Data Bundle did a gentle follow up for contract review, which upon extensive deliberations led to the initiation of 5GB from 1.5GB. The SRC President, Mr. Joseph Adomako Jnr, is much commended for this novel development, UENR is forever grateful to him”.
A partnership agreement between UENR and Vodafone Ghana makes the University issue a special Vodafone SIM card to every student of the University. During the registration of newly admitted students, the SIM card is issued with a package that is automatically renewed every month.
