The SRC President of Pentecost University College had picked four prestigious awards to end a remarkable year. Mr. Daniel Asomani an old student of Sekondi College, Sekondi-Takoradi tells Hypercitigh.com the turn of events and the successes chalked in the year.
The PUC SRC President doubles as the CEO of Vodec Africa, a non- profit organization with focus on empowering, mentoring and providing financial assistance to the youth to advance in their startups and motivate others to initiate the entrepreneurship drive through seminars and symposia.
Following a successful spell of dedication to the thrust of youth development and student leadership, Mr. Daniel Asomani picked up the Young Achievers for Enterprise and Youth Empowerment on the continent of Africa at the PAN African Humanitarian summit and awards held on the 20-22nd of November, 2019 at Abu Dhabi in Dubai.
The awards which was held at the Hilton Hotel saw the SRC President of Pentecost University College share the same stage with Hon. Osei-Kyei Mensah Bonsu the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Majority Speaker of Parliament, the Honorary President of United leaders, Her Majesty Nadia Harihiri, the Western Regional Minister, Hon. Kwabena Okyere Darko and other influential leaders.
On picking the award, Mr. Daniel Asomani thanked the Lord for such honor and the organizers of the Pan African Humanitarian Summit. He also expressed his appreciation to the management, staff and student body of Pentecost University College for their support and guidance as he seeks to put to practice the motto of the school, “Empowered To Serve”.
The award was to recognize strategically sound personalities in Africa with measurable achievement in championing economic growth and empowering young people through entrepreneurship development.
On the 24th of November 2019, Mr. Daniel Asomani was also awarded as the most influential SRC president in Ghana during the Success Africa Annual Dinner held at the Alisa Hotel Accra, Ghana.
This award was in recognition of his outstanding positive influence on students not limited to PUC but across all other universities.
He also received special recognition from the UMB Ghana Tertiary Awards Board of Directors on November 29th as the most outstanding SRC President who played a vital role in the organization of the Awards.
On the 30th of November 2019 the same zeal and dedication towards youth development saw him listed amongst top under-35 Executive Director Honoree which was held at Holiday Inn Hotel in Accra, Ghana. The recognition award and honor were organized by Africa Tertiary Entrepreneurs Awards.
