Nzema East MCE Meets With Stakeholders To Begin PHASE II Redevelopment Of Axim Victoria Park

The Municipal Chief Executive of the Nzema East Municipal Assembly, Hon. Frank Okpenyen on Wednesday, 28th April, 2021 met with stakeholders involved in the redevelopment of the Axim Victoria Park to officially begin the PHASE II of the project.

The high powered meeting was made up of officials from the Ghana Tourism Authority, Ghana Museums and Monuments Board, Chiefs from Lower and Upper Axim Traditional Area, Ayisakro, Nsein and members of the Marjorie family.

The stakeholders after visiting the project site, expressed delight at the progress of the PHASE I and congratulated the hardworking MCE, Hon. Frank Okpenyen for a good job done.

The Redevelopment of the Axim Victoria Park remains one of the flagship projects started by the former MP and Tourism Minister, Hon. Catherine Abelema Afeku to give a facelift to the Axim Victoria Park and adds up to a host of strategic initiatives implemented by Hon. Catherine Abelema to reposition Axim as the number one tourist destination in Ghana.

The project when completed will comprise of a VIP Parking area, Pre-Event Lounge, Restaurant, Multi-purpose Entertainment, Administration, Preservation of shrine, Ground control barriers, VIP Access and seating areas for Chiefs and Guests.
