Meet KNUST female graduate, one of the first pilots to land a plane at the new Anambra Airport

The State Governor of the Anambra East local government area, Chief Willie Obiano on the 30th of April, 2021 inaugurated the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport in the Umueri community with a magnificent presentation.

During the test run, Nwando Phina, who is a Nigerian and a resident of Azia in Ihiala Local Government Area of the Anambra State landed an Aircraft at the newly inaugurated Airport.

Miss Nwando Phina is a graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST ) – Kumasi. She studied BSc. Computer Engineering as an undergraduate and later on was trained at an Air school in South Africa where he was certified to fly commercial aeroplanes.

The female pilot success has brought a lot of pleasure and joy to both friends and family members.

Nwando younger sister, Sonia Uzama took to her Twitter handle to break the news and expressed her joy for the sister.
