University hall and Unity hall alumni and concerned students alike took to the street of Accra to voice out their displeasure and disdain by the university management to convert the long serving single sex halls into mixed sex halls. As reported by Hypercitigh.com yesterday, the 9th of August, 2018, having been assured by the Acting president and chief of staff of the University Hall Alumni, took the bull by horn and acted accordingly.

The demonstration was graced by an overwhelming number of people accustomed in Conti and Katanga lacostes displayed in jubilant function.

The demonstration commenced from the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange en route to the State House. It was then climaxed by the receipt of the petition by the office of the Council of State and office of the Minister of Education, Tertiary institutions
The demonstration was organized by concerned students who were being led by the ALUMNI body
