Team Akofresh is a team of college students founded by an Enactus student from Ghana, Master Matthias Charles Yabe.

The team has qualified for the Techstyle for Social Good International Competition – 2021. The Akofresh team is the only African representative amongst the finalist teams selected.

The program seeks to award students who are innovating for social good globally through techstyle (technology + lifestyle) innovation that can create positive environmental and social impact and incorporate textiles or agrifood technology. Since Team Akofresh met such requirements, they have been chosen as one of the twelve finalists for the grand finale.

As finalists,  team Akofresh is  eligible for 3 prize packages.

  1. Grand prize for Agrifood Category,
  2. Special Prize for Agrifood Category and
  3. The Community Prize.

The community prize will be awarded to the finalist team whose video gets the most likes on Instagram. The  community prize happens to be some sort of a consolation prize for finalists who do not win any of the grand prizes.

The deadline for voting is 13th September, 2021.

Team Akofresh is currently preparing for the final pitch and interview with the jury who will determine the grand prize winners.
