The old students union of Ghana Secondary Technical School, Takoradi; GSTS Alumni Association has brought its week-long Election of Executives to an end. The exercise, which was conducted online commenced on Saturday, 17th April, 2021 and ended at 11:59pm on Saturday, 24th April, 2021.

Results from the Nominations and Elections Committee chaired by Gt. Robert Owusu ’79 indicate that Gt. Dr. Tetteh Abbeyquaye, a tenured professor of Chemistry at Quinsigamond Community College, Worcester, MA has been approved as President by 96.8% of total valid votes cast after running unopposed

The academic cum film maker who currently holds position as 1st Vice President of the Association will be deputised by Giant Henry Kwaku Boafo’80’82; a Research Fellow, Centre for Settlement Studies, KNUST and Gt Raymond Akuaku’88’90; a Systems Simulation Engineer at Vanderlande Industries UK Ltd who polled 98.1% and 96.2% respectively.
