The University of Energy and Natural Resources has been adjudged 3rd runners up after reaching the final stage at this year’s Enactus Ghana competition, which took place on Thursday, 22nd July, 2021 at the Mensvick Hotel in Accra.
The competition which involved 9 Ghanaian universities from across the country sought to find the best innovative and entrepreneurial university in Ghana.
After preliminary and ‘league room’ rounds, the Technologians placed second after C.K Tendam University (formally, UDS, Navrongo campus) who will be representing Ghana at the worldwide stage between fifty six countries.
The success chalked by Enactus UENR undoubtedly deserves some plaudits considering the few months of reorganisation it did and the just three-week preparation for the competition as against 12-24 months by other competitors.
Dr. Berchie Asiedu; lecturer of UENR who serves as patron of Team UENR won the Faculty Advisor of the Year award.
