The elections for the 2021 batch of executives for COHSS and CANARSA have been fraught with several issues popping up throughout the day. From the disqualification of a shoe-in aspirant to several banters from various aspirants, this year’s CoHSS and CANaRSA elections have been everything but subtle. 

For the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, it’s a breath of fresh air to see its succession planning come to a glorified end. After several months of campaigning with the many rhetoric, the day has ebbed with only one winner- Master Richard Dziwornu, coming out as the president-elect for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. This year’s elections have kicked off with what we all expect a KNUST election to be- exciting and exacerbating.

There have been many issues today but it has been an exciting day. This election breaks the ice for all others coming up for the election road map for Campus KNUST. The most topical one being the KNUST SRC Elections coming off on the 14th of July, 2021.
