Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Interim Judicial Committee (IJC) has provided reasons first years are excluded from the SRC elections. On Monday, January 25, 2021, the 3 member panel in a 2:1 decision ruled that the first years do not meet the requirement to exercise their franchise in the January 28 polls.
