The College of Art and Built Environment inaugurated the faculty of Education into its ensemble. Following the inclusion of this new faculty, the College has undergone several restructuring processes to enable its public acknowledgement of the novel Faculty of Education. This change to inculcate the new faculty has seen the name of the College change from College of Arts and Built Environment to the College of Art, Built Environment and Education with the Students’ Association taking on the abbreviation CABEESA from its erstwhile acronym CABESA.
The Women’s Commissioner’s office of the College’s students’ association has also undergone some changes to imbibe this wind of change that has swept up the college. The Women’s Commissioner’s office under the auspices of Women in Art, Built Environment and Education (WABE) has unveiled a new logo and cloth design for the women of the College. The cloth and logo are inspired works based on the new logo for the entire college and cloth for the entire college as well.
The KNUST brand continues to flourish as it the university, a one-time best university in West-Africa, continues to spread its wings in the field of scientific innovation and academic repute. The College of Arts, Built Environment and Education is one of six colleges making up the collegiate system run by the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
