You may be cogitating as to when your first semester exams results will be released and its legitimacy. First and foremost I would want to wish you a happy new year and I trust you doing just fine.
Many are wondering as to when the results would be released and the various processes the scripts go through before the results eventually reflect in your portal. It is in the light of these questions that I am writing to provide information in that regard to you. I hope you will be informed about the time frame your results is likely to be released by the end of the write-up and the processes they go through.
My fellow colleagues, all results are released usually within a span of 3weeks after school reopens for the second semester (if last year’s academic calendar is anything to go by). Nevertheless the above various from department to department across the six colleges.
Fast forward,
A brief on the stages the examination scripts go through before results are released. First and foremost, the exam scripts are marked, cross-checked and recorded. If the exam is marked out of (100%), it’s scaled down to (70%), the marks are added to your assessment. The recorded marks are then added to your assessment. The recorded marks are the sent to the examination officer (s) of your department and then through the various boards responsible for examinations for onward approval and endorsement. The results are released into our portals after going through all these processes (few details have been skipped to make the write – up concise)
Also one has to note that with university or tertiary exams it is not by one intelligence but by grace the lord almighty rewarded his sons and daughters on planet Earth.
In summary, I entreat you remain calm and prayerful as you await your results. Thank you.
