11.) Don’t say: I am on the line (if you mean queue).

Say: I am in the line.

12.) Don’t say: The girl has ran away.

Say: The girl has run away.

13.) Don’t say: He is sleeping.

Say: He is asleep.

14.) Don’t say: I thought you know the place.

Say: I thought you knew the place.

15.) Don’t say: I forgot my phone at home.

Say: I left my phone at home.

16.) Don’t say: Should in case anyone call, please tell him or her that I’m busy.

Say: Should anyone call, please tell them I’m busy.

Or, In case anyone calls, please tell them I’m busy.

17.) Don’t say: He has being in his room for hours.

Say: He has been in his room for hours.

18.) Don’t say I have never being to London.

Say: I have never been to London.

19.) Don’t say: Me, Isaac and Rose did not attend the party.

Say: Isaac, Rose and I did not attend the party. Or

I, Isaac and Rose did not attend the party.

20.) Don’t say: The secret must be be kept between you and I.

Say: The secret must be kept between you and me.

21.) Don’t say: My senior sister has travelled to London.

Say: My elder sister has travelled to London.

22.) Don’t say: I’m coming.

Say: I’ll be with you in a moment.

23.) Don’t say: Your elder brother can not beat me talk less of you small rat!

Say: Your elder brother can not beat me let alone you small rat!

Or

Your elder brother can not beat me not to talk of you small rat!

24.) Don’t say: He was killed in a motor accident.

Say: He was killed in a road accident or in a car accident.

25.) Don’t say: You better tell me the truth now.

Say: You had better tell me the truth now.

26.) Don’t say: We attended a night vigil yesterday.

Say: We attended a vigil yesterday.

27.) Don’t say: Let’s enter a bus here.

Say: Let’s board a bus here.

28.) Don’t say: I have tried my possible best.

Say: I have tried my best.

or

i have tried my best possible.

29.) Don’t say: Stop driver, I want to drop here!

Say: Stop driver, I want to alight here!

30.) Don’t say: I’m trusting God for a lucrative job.

Say: I trust God for a lucrative job.
