Catherine Osei, a lead SRC General Secretary aspirant, on Wednesday, 7th June, 2021 donated a number of food items to the CABESA CHARITY BANK. This is in line with her commitment to serving KNUST students beyond the basic secretarial duties, but also impacting on the welfare needs of students.
In attendance were the President of CABESA, master Kwame Takyi, the CABESA General Secretary, Miss Doreenda Delali and the coordinators of the CABESA CHARITY BANK.
This great move is not the first we have witnessed from her outfit since the academic year begun.
She believes that the aftermath of Covid 19 restrictions and the opening up of the country is accompanied with various financial and welfare challenges.
This initiative by the able CABESA executives is one that needs the support of the membership of the college, the student populace and the general public.
She then called on all students and other stakeholders to contribute their quota in making such welfare programs successful. Your widows mite, can cause a bliss in the face of others. “Let us all contribute to this programs and help others survive on campus.” She said.
