Mixed Hall Saga: The rebirth, Unity hall to hit the streets today, rally support for the Blackstars

Unity Hall seems to have not given up on the mixed hall fight as reports gathered by hypercitigh.com reveals that Unity hall would be embarking on a procession today to reaffirm their abhorrence to the mixed hall conversion.

This comes under the back of several months of bitter adherence to a decision majority of Unity hall and University Hall members never subscribed to after female students were housed in the traditional halls for the 2018/19 academic year. Following the end of an academic year it looks like female students into the halls have outlived their welcome as such intend to rebirth the protest of a “No to Unity hall being mixed hall” crusade.

However as part of the agenda, Unity hall would also want to create awareness for this year’s AFCON and rally support for the black stars in the upcoming African Cup of Nations which is scheduled to kick off on Friday June 22.

A communique cited by hypercitigh.com signed by Unity Hall traditional council indicates that members would converge at the State Experimental School Park, Suame Round-about behind Asanteman Senior High School at 7:00 am. The procession would start from the school park to Angel fm at Abrepo Junction the statement reads.
Could this be another build up to what happened last year October 22?
