KNUST welcomes Freshmen to campus

It’s a day that marks a new beginning for incoming freshmen at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

Over 15,000 freshmen are expected to arrive at the campus today, 6th September 2019.

The freshmen are reporting to the Premiere Science and Technology University in Ghana to begin the 2019/2020 academic year ahead of the reporting date for continuing students on the 16th of September 2019.

The day features a series of events to help students and their families to feel welcomed and get acquainted with KNUST’s campus.

Upon arrival on campus, the students are expected to complete their hall and academic registrations ahead of the commencement of lectures.

Lectures for fresh students begin on Monday, September 9, 2019.

The number of students admitted this year is anticipated to increase marginally from the previous academic year.
