KNUST SRC has assured students to keep calm as they await positive feedback from GUSS hostels management.
A communique signed by SRC PRO, Master Richard Amoh is asking students to always count on the SRC in such times after outrage sparked across a section of students a day after GUSS hostels management released 2020/2021 billing.
Students took to social media to protest against what some described as a reckless increment in prices of these ‘lavish’ hostels on campus.
However, the SRC led by Master Adu Baah Charles has today, Thursday, 13th, 2020 engaged the Dean of Students, the University management and other relevant stakeholders to seek a reasonable reduction in the prices.
According to the communique from the SRC, the stakeholders understood the challenges of students and are confident of a reduction in prices.
