The succession planning process of KNUST student leadership begun last week with the collegiate elections coming to a very competitive end with various victors for various positions within the six colleges on KNUST Campus.

Per the Election Schedule, this week has been earmarked for the electoral process of the Halls on Campus. Today, Unity Hall, Queens Hall and Africa Hall are having a go at the election of a new crop of leaders to succeed the outgoing leadership of these halls.

Things are underway at all three polling centres across the three halls. The only issue that has popped has been the slight delay in the commencement of voting as a result of delayed confirmation from the electoral strong room for the Hall elections.

Another issue that has also taking the electorates of Unity Hall by storm is the disqualification of Continental Dessy from the Presidential race leaving Continental Zembe and Continental B.A (Nuamah) as the last men standing for a chance at the role of President for the Hall.

The location for the final declaration for the various halls are yet to be made known to the media. The turnout at all three polling centres as at this morning are not too encouraging.

However, an interview with the Electoral Commissioners for each of these halls saw a reassurance of a massive turnout hopefully before the end of the day.
