The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has reportedly rescheduled the conduct of the 2021 WASSCE physics and Business Management papers over an alleged leakage, a source close to the matter said on Wednesday.
The two 2021 WASSCE papers were scheduled to be administered today Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at 8:00 Am by the Examinations Council at various examination centres across the country.
“Today’s Physics and Business Management papers have been re-scheduled indefinitely by WAEC. The Apo is toooo much. Abah!,” the source familiar with the matter stated in a social media post sighted by EducationWeb.com.gh.
The non-profit-making organization (WAEC) responsible for the conduct of the 2021 edition of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination is however yet to confirm the postponement of the two examination papers.
Over 446,000 final year students representing 221,437 males and 234,884 females from 965 Senior High Schools i.e 651 public schools and 314 private schools in Ghana are partaking in the ongoing international examination.
Candidates have been advised to abide by the rules and regulations governing the administration of the examination and avoid any form of malpractice that could lead to the cancellation of the entire or some of their subject results.
Persons associated with the conduct of the international examination including invigilators and supervisors have also been entreated to be vigilant and refrain from taking their mobile phones to the examination hall.
