University of Ghana Earth Science students begin search for new executives

Electoral processes for the selection of new student leaders for the Earth Science Department of the University of Ghana have begun.

The Electoral Commission of the Department’s Student Association says that aspirants can now pick nomination forms to contest in the election.

Per the Department’s constitution, only level 200s and 300s are eligible to contest in the election.

A communique from the EC, circulating the various students’ platforms and sighted by UniversNews says that six executive offices are available for contestation for the 2021/2022 academic year.

Good day fellow Geomates. Inline with chapter 5, Article 14 of the UGESSA constitution, the UGESSA Electoral Commission through this circular informs the entire association that nomination for executive portfolios have been opened for the under-listed UGESSA Executive Officers for the  2021/2022 academic year;

1. President

2. Vice President

3. General Secretary

4. Organizing Secretary

5. Public Relations Officer

6. Treasurer

All interested and qualified persons should contact the EC and the deputy to pick up their forms.
