There is no doubt that the Covid-19 pandemic has left a devastating void in the lives of students.

From restrictions to lockdown, truncation of the academic calendar, and the adaptation of the modular system by the University of Ghana; students all over the world, especially UG students have experienced some level of challenges with selecting student leaders.

However, these students have refused to let the student politics ecosystem die hence the adaptation of the modular system of voting; using both physical and online voting systems.

This is to give room for all students regardless of where they find themselves to have the power, to elect their leaders.

This is obvious in the ongoing Junior Common Room elections, departmental, schools, and colleges elections at the University of Ghana.
