COVID-19: Noguchi calls for re-introduction of restrictions as cases surge

The Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research (NMIMR) has urged the government to consider reintroducing restrictions to deal with the rising cases of Covid-19.

In a statement, Noguchi said that the Delta variant of the virus was fast spreading in communities, hence the need to take urgent steps to address the issue.

They disclosed that some persons who were vaccinated were also contracting the virus.
