The Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) is accepting applications for Local scholarships for the 2022/23 Academic year.

DEADLINE

The effective opening date for applications is Monday, 12th December 2022 and closing date for applications is Tuesday, 31st January 2023.

HOW TO APPLY AND REQUIREMENTS

UNDERGRADUATE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

All applicants are required to complete their application. form via the GETFund Scholarship Portal

  1. Scanned copy of signed Application letter
  2. Scanned copy of proof of Nationality (Copy of Passport / National I.D Card)
  3. Admission letter clearly stating the program duration
  4. Approved Fee Schedule (2022/23 Academic Year)
  5. Secondary School Certificate results (WASSCE, CTVET, and any other certificate recognized by Ghana Tertiary Education Commission GTEC) (where applicable)
  6. Previous academic term transcripts for continuing students (where applicable)
  7. Previous Undergraduate Certificate (Degree, HND, Diploma) and corresponding transcript for applicants pursuing another Undergraduate certificate (Degree, HND) (where applicable)

POSTGRADUATE APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

All applicants are required to complete their application. form via the GETFund Scholarship Portal

  1. Scanned copy of signed Application letter
  2. Scanned copy of proof of Nationality (Copy of Passport / National I.D Card)
  3. Scanned copy of admission letter clearly stating the program duration in it
  4. Scanned copy of approved Fee Schedule (2022/23 Academic Year) – if not stated in the letter of admission
  5. Scanned copy of 1st degree certificate (Masters and PhD applicants)
  6. Scanned copy of other degree certificate (PhD applicants only)
  7. Scanned copy of previous transcript (Masters and PhD applicants only)
  8. Scanned copy of National Service Certificate where applicable (Masters and PhD applicants only)
  9. Copy of Curriculum Vitae (Masters and PhD applicants only).
