Ghana’s Education Service (GES) as part of efforts to ensure a smooth and difficulty-free placement of 2020 BECE candidates into various second-cycle schools has announced call lines to address SHS placement related issues.
The Education Service in a blog post sighted by Educationweb.com.gh said trained staff are on stand by at various GES call centres nationwide to assist candidates with issues concerning the yet to be release 2020 SHS placement.
The call lines comes after the Service announced there will be no National solution centres at the Independence square and the Regional Education offices this year amid the outbreak of the unexpected coronavirus.
“Please note that the National solution centre normally set up at the Independence square and the Regional Education offices will not be available this year due to Covid 19,” GES stated in the post.
For enquiries on 2020 placement candidates and members of the general public are to call the helpline 0900 800 700, 030 298 7654, 020 77 61685, 020 77 61 583, 020 77 61 622, 020 77 61 625, 020 77 61 611 & 020 77 61 674.
The delayed 2020 SHS placement was released by the Ghana Education Service (GES) on Monday, March 1, 2021, at 12: 27 AM.
