Urban gospel artiste Dre Lexis , known in private life as Alex Sowarlo is set to release another spirit-filled and inspiring single titled ‘Slow Down’ come Saturday.

Inspired by the need for faith an patience in the Lord at all times the single aims at becoming a catalyst for the deep trust we need to have in God for all that we might be looking up to him for.

“I want this track to teach people about patience and trust and learn to slow down when life is making them rush ” he said in an exclusive interview with hyprcitigh.com

Sharing a personal testimony on the origin of the song, Dre Lexis revealed that the song is a result of the some things he was facing in life at a point in time.

“I was going through a lot of things in life as well as family and I was taking some hasty decision which were wrong. I was taking them just to comfort myself but was all wrong so I needed to slow down to wait and listen to God. I was just getting off the leash”
The “Wicked One” hitmaker has a number of songs under his belt including ‘Pray’ and ‘N’adom’ both songs filled with the lyrical dexterities many would want to feel in a song coupled with spirit-filled lyrics delivered on top notch bars rap can offer.

The thought provoking and faith moving single, ‘Slow down’ will be available for streaming on Audiomack and Soundcloud on the handle @drelexis.
