The Kumasi Metro NASPA is set to begin a sensitization programme on covid-19.
The programme is to help create the awareness and the responsibility of all personnel and citizens to strictly adhere to all covid-19 preventive protocols outlined by the Ministry of Health and World Health Organisation. According to the Kumasi Metro NASPA president, Mr. Owusu-Agyemang Aephaniel, the inititiative is being introduced to augment government efforts in combating the virus in the country.
He added that, this would not be the only thing that they would do to compliment government efforts but will also engage in other cooperate social responsibility initiatives as well.
Mr. Richmond Akoto, Organising Secretary noted that the sensitization exercise would start with executives embarking on a radio tour to educate people about the dangers of not adhering to the covid-19 protocols, and also donate some PPEs to various orphanages within the Kumasi Metropolis to help fight the corona virus pandemic. The programme is expected to run through the month of February.
