The covid-19 pandemic has forced us to take a second look at the things we referred to as the norm. From a ban on handshake, hugs to the suspension of public gatherings in many parts of the world have curtailed social life freedom.

Education as well has had its fair share of the bitter taste of the pandemic, schools have been asked to shut down temporarily causing students to flee to their various abode.  Academic work has virtually come to halt except for some tertiary institutions that have instituted reliable and accessible e-learning platforms.

The fate of legitimate student leaders are also in limbo, as reopening, a phrase that is far fetching in current situation.

More so, from indications, final years are going to graduate before school physically reopens. In the context of the fact that most student leaders would graduate by then; how should handing overs be done?

Can students still conduct their usual programs in brick and mortar?
