One of the pacesetters when it comes to applying technology to university administration is The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).
The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) uses a cloud computing environment from Google [Google Workspace, formerly known as G Suite] for all student’s school’s email account.
Aside from the mailing system, the University management has made payment of academic fees and admission E-Vochures very easy with the UPSA Interpay System.
In this article, we will outline the steps that can be used by UPSA freshmen and continuing students to set up their student mail account easily.
The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) Student mailing platform can be accessed using devices such as Android, Apple IOS, Laptop.
You can choose to use either the Gmail app on your phone or log on to the address www.gmail.com on your browser. Whichever you choose make sure you have openned the Gmail account.
When the Gmail opens, you will be required to enter your school’s index number and add to @upsamail.edu.gh
For example, if your index number is 10098756, then your email address will be email@example.com
Enter this into the space that requires your email address
When you are done entering your email address, you will need to enter your password.
Please do note that there is a default password that applies to everyone, including your good self. This is: UPSA2013
Thus after the email address, do follow it with the default password which is UPSA2013
Please do remember that the password can be changed by you at any time but you will need to be careful not to forget about it as it could take you awhile to recover considering the times we find ourselves
How to login into UPSA student email using a mobile phone
Step 1: Download the Gmail App from Google Playstore. URL to the Google mail app can be accessed below https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.gm&hl=en&gl=US
Step 2: Install the Application on your smartphone after download
Step 3: Add another account to your personal gmail account.
Step 4.Use your IDNUMBERr@upsamail.edu.gh as your username (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Step 5.Your default login password is UPSA2013. You are required to change the password to your preferable password.
Step 6: Please add your recovery number and email in order to be able to reset your password if you forget.
Step 7: Please contact the Distance Learning Directorate for the E-learning site difficulties via email@example.com
