A first-year student at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) whose identity is unknown complains about the non-working elevator at the school hostel and its impact on the health of residents.

In a message sent to journalist Nana Aba Anamoah, the student whose gender was not disclosed says the problem has led to weight loss and other health issues.

“I’m on the 7th floor of Mandela hall and can you believe we use the staircase instead of an elevator in the school? Upon all the money we paid.”

The GHOne journalist shared the message on her Facebook page as part of what she has termed #mydmdiaries on February 16, 2021, at 5:57 P.M.
