The Council of University of Mines and Technology, Tarkwa (UMaT) has appointed Associate Professor Anthony Simons as Pro Vice-chancellor at its 79th (Regular) Meeting held on Friday, 26th March 2021

Associate Professor Anthony Simons will serve as Pro Vice-chancellor for a two-year term with effect from 1st April, 2021 to 31st December, 2022.

Before his appointment, Associate Professor Anthony Simons was the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.

Assoc Prof Anthony Simons has also held positions in the University as Vice Dean for the Faculty of Engineering, Head of Mechanical Engineering Department, Head of Computer Science and Engineering Department, Head of Mathematical Sciences Department, University Examinations Co-ordinator, Faculty Examinations Officer for the Faculty of Engineering, and Examinations Officer for the Mechanical Engineering Department.  He has served on the University Council and various Boards and Committees of the University.
