UDS: 3 months old Tamale Campus SRC President nears impeachment, court hearing on March 7

The UDS Tamale Campus Judicial Board has served notice of a hearing between Entertainment Committee Chairman and 3 month old SRC President at the healm of affairs.

The plaintiff, Master Iddi Mohammed Faried who petitioned the Judicial Board make claims of abuse of power, involvement in acts corruption and disregard for the powers of the General assembly against the 1st respondant, Master Lukman Mohammed.

The lead cousel for the plaintiff, Master Safwan Yiah who filed the case on Monday, March 1, 2021 is praying for the removal of the 1st respondent from office according to hypercitigh.com sources.

The Judicial General Secretary, Joceylin Emefa Ampaw has since served notice to the entire student body indicating that the petition will be held on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at the SHASH block.

Verdict Outcome

If the court rules in favor of the plaintiff, it will be the first time in the history of the school that an SRC President has been impeached.
