Basketballghana.com can confirm Shama Senior High School is hosting the Sprite Ball Trophy Tour entourage as at the time of publication.
The event is being held ahead of the start of the next edition of Ghana’s biggest High School competition from January 11-12, 2019 at the El Wak Stadium in Accra.

Shama has qualified to the event from Ghana’s Western Region which is set to have seven other schools compete for the top prize in the Girls Division.

The school’s female team topped the regional qualifiers played recently in the regional capital, Takoradi ahead of 2018 national bronze winners Ahantaman Girls Senior High School.
Despite making regular appearances in the national competition, this is the first time Shama is hosting the Tour entourage on its ground.
The entourage is set to journey to the region’s other representatives St. John’s School and Sekondi College. Both schools have qualified to play in the Boys Division.
Shama is returning to the Sprite Ball Championship after missing out on two straight editions.
