University of Ghana :Full results of Commonwealth Hall JCR elections

Residents of the Commonwealth Hall of the University of Ghana went to the polls yesterday to elect a new executive body for its Junior Common Room (JCR).
The elections was generally calm but voter turnout was barely impressive.

Out of the 4 offices being contested for, the portfolio of President, Vice-President and Treasurer were contested unopposed with two person seeking office of Secretary.

Total number of candidates for the election was 5.
At the end of the election, Prince Lumor, Malcom Amissah-Arthur and Elliot Akplagah were all affirmed as President, Vice-President and Treasurer elects.

For the office of Secretary, Vincent Otmar Ofori Agyekum managed to secure a comfortable win over of his contender Stanley Alipoe Agbenya.
