Level 100 and 400 students residing in the University of Ghana Enterprise Limited (UGEL) halls have been asked to vacate their rooms with all their belongings by Monday, March 22, 2021.
A memo from the Operations Manager to students in the halls stated that this was to be done in order for management to have time to prepare the rooms for the incoming Level 200 and 300 students.
“Students are to vacate their rooms immediately they complete their examinations. All students must vacate their room by 22nd, March 2021. Management has a very short time to prepare the rooms for Level 200 and 300. All keys must be signed out at the porter’s lodge. Rooms that fail to submit their key will be surcharged for the change of the lock.”
The Memo further stressed for students to vacate the rooms with all their belongings and stated that “no item should be left in the hall. Should any student fail to comply, they do so at their own risk since we (management) cannot guarantee the safety of the items left in the rooms”
However, students who wish to remain on campus after the first semester were asked to submit an official application letter to the Senior Hall Tutor by Thursday, March 18, 2021.
“Any student who wants to remain on campus after the end of the first semester should submit an official application letter to the Senior Hall Tutor no later than 18th March 2021. The letter should give a detailed reason why they intended to stay”
