UG Muslim community receive donations from UGSRC21 Secretary Aspirant Stephanie Naadu Antwi to mark Eid-ul-Adha

The feast of Eid-ul Adha was celebrated yesterday, July 20th, 2021. Stephanie Naadu Antwi, a secretarial aspirant for the University of Ghana Students Representative Council (UGSRC) in 2021, provided refreshments to the Muslim community during their Eid-ul Adha celebration. Naadu and Her campaign Team mutually made this presentation.

She thanked the Muslim community for their warm welcome and urged them to intervene on behalf of the entire university in the upcoming UGSRC elections, promising to support the Muslim community throughout the election process. She also reaffirmed her commitment to supporting the Muslim community on campus.

She additionally requested them to continually uphold the tenets of Islam in the quest to construct a holistic society.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Muslim community, the President of the association conveyed their heart-warming felicitations of the whole community to NAADU and her team and prayed for Allah’s blessings for her.

Eid-ul-Adha or the Festival of Sacrifice is held every year by all Muslims all over the world to commemorate the obedience of Ibrahim’s commitment to God, where Allah came to Ibrahim in a dream and asked him to sacrifice his own son Ismail as an act of obedience to God.
