Election Tower: 2018 UG SRC Elections end in a Runoff between Two Candidates
The Premier University In Ghana 2018 Student Representative Council elections has ended in a runoff between two candidates.
In determining who succeeds the current SRC(Student Representative Council) President, Daniel Otting Awuah
will call or require a runoff between the two candidates Clement Bofa-Oppong and Afful Kwaku Appiah and a
second timer SRC candidates Sylvester Amoako and Vice Candidate Adom Anorkwah based on the current situation at hand.

After the Premier University’s SRC Elections for 2018 and 2019 Executive members Voting, came off
on Monday, 23rd April, 2018 after being postponed twice.

The University of Ghana, Legon students turned out in their numbers to vote in favor of their favored and
preferred candidate of who should assume control from the current administration, that’s the otting led Administration

In the wake of voting physically between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm, results were tallied and from the figures ordered, there will be a reiteration of a year ago’s races (Election) : A Run off!!!

The Runoff will be between Forebearing Bofa Oppong and Sylvester Amoako (Subject Tricky) since the two hopefuls couldn’t
make the limit of securing over half in addition to of the votes to be announced victors more specifically of securing more than
50% plus of the votes to be confirmed winners.
