Desmond Anterkyi has been elected as President of the Legon Hall JCR, defeating Selorm Amekuedee and Swallah Iddris.

The race, which was tipped to be keenly contested saw Anterkyi garner 370 votes with Amekuedee and Iddris managing 191 and 120 votes respectively.

The voter turnout was barely impressive and no violent incidents which could have marred the electoral process were recorded.

Other winners during the election are Joshua Worship Frimpong (Vice-President), Marjorie Ben-Smith (General Secretary) and Moses Oblitey Djanie (Organizing Secretary).

Others include Aaron Selasi Agbedanu (Treasurer) and Daniel Oduro (Sports Secretary).
