Christian Koblavi Atadika, an MBA marketing student of the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS) has been elected in a landslide victory as the president of the Graduate Student Association, University of Ghana chapter(GRASAG Legon).
Chris as he is popularly called polled a whooping 48.5% of the total vote cast with his closest contender Erzuah Nvidah polling a paltry 17.9%.
David Hodgson, a former KNUST local NUGS President Hopeful managed to poll 12.9%, whiles Saadatu Lawal, a veteran student activist and a former National GRASAG Gender Commissioner trailed all the other three in a contest described by many as ‘Clash of the Titans” with an abysmal 10.5% of the total vote cast.
Though many had envisaged a violent driven election following the many misunderstandings and ‘exchange of blows’ that preceded the election, it was held under a peaceful, serene atmosphere albeit the usual election accusations.
