KNUST : Vetting Results Released For KATH Common Room Elections

The aspirants were vetted Monday evening to determine who qualifies to be voted for. All aspirants who filed for all six portfolios met the pass mark and were recommended to be voted for.

The electoral commissioner in charge of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) campus of KNUST, Nana Ama Walker has released the list of qualified aspirants for its executive positions in the KATH common room elections.

The summarized release that was copied to Focus FM News, indicates a close contest between the two aspirants, Owusu Banahene Kelvin and Woanya Eliezer Micah Selassie for the presidential position.

The aspirants were vetted Monday evening to determine who qualifies to be voted for. All aspirants who filed for all six portfolios met the pass mark and were recommended to be voted for.

Various positions being contested for are the office of the President, which has 2 aspirants, Vice president-2 aspirants, General Secretary-2 aspirants, Financial Secretary-1 aspirant, Nutritional Officer-1 aspirant, and Recreational officer-1 aspirant.

Presidential debate is slated for 6th march, 2019 for voting to take place at the Komfo Anokye Teaching hospital on Thursday March 7, 2019.

The Komfo  Anokye Teaching Hospital’s Common room elections is the first ever election to set the ball rolling for the 2019 KNUST student elections.
