Is barely a month more the students of Kwame Nkrumah University Of Science and Technology (KNUST) to resume school but the students are restless in their various homes and are heavily panting uncomfortably. This decision has not gone down well with the residents and executives of the two traditional halls and they are ready to fight till the last drop of their blood just to see to it that these two halls will continually be as it has always been, male halls.
Although this does not often happen, residents of Katanga and Conti halls have surprisingly united to oppose the management of the university over its decision. To them, “Katanga/Conti is not just a hall, it is a legacy and must be maintained as it has always been”.

Students took to Whatsapp, and other social media avenue to express their disagreement over the said decision. See for yourself some of the images KNUST students used on their statuses and DP’s below.
This conversion would mean that there will be no male halls in KNUST and only one hall, Africa hall, will be a single hall in the university.
