Speaking in an Interview with the host of leadership corner on Focus FM, Boakye Nyamekye Isaac, he stated that, “There are a lot to be done for that matter, the SRC President should stop sending messages from his room on WhatsApp platforms thinking it will solve any of the numerous problems students face”.
He further critiqued the Kevin Sah led administration for setting up ‘invisible’ committees with the aim of investigating happenings on campus. He called on the SRC president to get to the grounds and see to the cries of students. He further stated that the SRC must consider themselves failures should they fail to see to it that the perpetrators involved in the brutality of the students are not dealt with adding that if they cannot achieve that, they should call off the demonstration.
Jacob Attakpah in the interview tagged the security men involved in these actions “A shame” for their illegal actions. He then called on the school’s management to deal with those involved. He stated that there must be no limits in what the SRC should do to ensure justice of the students of KNUST except violence.
