KNUST SRC to Host 2017 GJA Journalist of the year at TeK Leaders Summit

Bernard Avle is billed to be a guest speaker at this year’s 10th anniversary of the KNUST SRC Parliament, which began on February 1, 2019.
The Student Representative Council (SRC) of the Kwame Nkrumah University as part of activities to mark the 10th annual week celebration  has confirmed that it will host Ghana’s Journalist of the year, Bernard Koku Avle at their first ever Tek Leaders Summit.
The Tek Leaders Summit is under the theme: Awakening Nationalism In The Youth Through Inclusive Students’ governance and legislation.
Bernard Avle confirmed on twitter, his readiness to speak to students of KNUST at the  Tek Leadership Summit.


 

Bernardino Koku Avle as affectionately called by many, is a Ghanaian media personality, broadcast journalist, public speaker. He is the current host of Citi FM‘s morning show The Citi Breakfast Show and the host of the Point Of View Show on Citi TV. He also moderates and facilitates local and international conferences occasionally.

The Students Representative Council at KNUST, has invited Mr. Bernard Avle to educate KNUST student leaders on awakening nationalism in the Youth Through Inclusive Students’ governance and legislation
The summit will afford students and invited guests from other institutions the opportunity to interact with the astute journalist to learn and share their opinion on essential element for nation building and politics.
Other speakers for the conference include, Marricke Kofi Gane – Accountant, Lecturer and International Development Expert, Grace Naa Ardua Armah – Pharmacist, Executive Member of Lady Pharmacists Association of Ghana, Dr. Samuel Adu Gyamfi – Social Historian of Medicine  and Senior Lecturer (Department of History and Political Studies KNUST), Eunice Akosua Ofosua Amoako – Global President, KNUST alumni Association.

Certificate of participation will be awarded to interested persons and Refreshment will be served as well.
The summit will  be aired live of KNUST’s campus radio, Focus 94.3 FM at exactly 8am on Saturday 23rd February, 2019 Morning.
