“And very soon these aspirants when when found guilty after the investigation, will be disqualified and cannot contest for the SRC portfolio,” he stated.
Addressing journalists and aspirants at a meet-the-press forum, Mr. Nti expressed his disappointment in some aspirants who resort to bribing IT experts to rig elections.
“I am sometimes disappointed and ashamed when the very electorates that fight the commission for reforms sits in their closets and plan evil. You have students who pay large sums of money to IT experts all in the name of rigging elections in their favour,” he indicated.
He therefore admonished students, stakeholders and all electorates to be of responsible behavior and abide by all rules and regulations governing the elections.
“Copies of all election rules and regulations have been made available on all notice boards on campus. Do well to read them and follow them cautiously,” he advised.
The commission has also promised to ensure maximum security all round campus to ensure the sanity the electoral process deserves once it begins.
